Our hikes usually alternate between North Bay, East Bay and Peninsula, with an occasional SF city hike thrown in.

This is a group for casual hikers, dogs and their friends who love to hit the trail for fun and exercise. Based in the East Bay we'll explore dog friendly hikes in the bay area. For years I was a solo backpacker who frequently ventured solo into less frequented areas. Recently I experienced a scare while doing so which made me realize how vulnerable a solo hiker off trail is.
